William Bailey Travel Reviews Legoland – A Top Family Destination

William Bailey Travel Reviews Legoland - A Top Family DestinationWe’ve all had a love hate relationship with Legos our entire lives. We love to take those little building blocks and build phenomenal things, and we absolutely hate when somehow we always end up stepping on one of them. We might know a lot about Legos, but did you know that there are Legoland theme parks that have been built around the world? William Bailey Travel invites you to take a closer look at all the original Legoland Park in Billund, Denmark has to offer.

This original Legoland was opened in 1968 in Billund, and is located next to the original Lego factory. The park was built as a way to promote these tiny blocks of building imagination. It was an instant success which is no surprise, and today, more than 2 million people visit annually. The theme park has used more than 45 million of these tiny plastic blocks to realistically portray miniature cites and specific themed worlds. Mini Land is the main feature of the park, and you will be astonished at the creativity of these 1:20 scale models. They realistically depict landscapes and famous buildings from around Europe on such a miniature scale you will be in awe.

For the younger tykes in your group, head over to Duplo Land, the younger version of Legos. This is the perfect place for 2 to 6 year olds to play and use their imaginations. There are many interactive elements to the land and role-play areas. You can take a ride on the Duplo Train, of course made from Duplo blocks. Legorado Town is western themed land offering plenty of rides for the kids Lego Canoe, Legogoldmine, Westernride, Timber Ride, and the Legogoldmine Train. Pirate Land, you guessed it, is themed around all that is pirates. This land is all about the water rides, and you will find yourself in Pirate Splash Battle, Pirate Wave Breaker, Pirate Water Falls and Pirate Boats. This is best visited in the heat of the day as it is the perfect way to cool off.

It doesn’t matter what age you are, this amazing destination has something for everyone. It’s an adventure that feeds your creativity and takes you back to your youth. Amuse your family and take a trip back in time at this top destination for travel.
